Crash,
This monkey (yours trully) was impressed.
Personally, I do care what people think about me, and that last paragraph you wrote is certainly not misplaced here: "... Anyone reading this and thinking I am one of the loons who escaped the bin, just means you have not had an experience, or deny what you may have seen."
That sums it all up.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Hey Steve,

Like I said, who knows what surprises the future, or past, hold for us.

As for the main stream media, they always toe the sane point of view. Anyone who reports a UFO is a kook, crackpot, loon, etc... Even if the person reporting the incident is a highly regarded member of the community, and the reporter knows the person, the media outlet still tags that person as different.

And why a UFO would show itself, well, perhaps they like to impress the monkeys jumping about and screeching at the pretty lights, then telling fantastic stories about them... Although, at a distance, a little light (radiation), even at night, causes an object to disappear. But up close, it looks strange, depending on the types of radiation.

I know what I have experienced, and I also know others who have experienced something. I believe there is something out there, as to what it is or who it is, I do not know first hand. I have told my experiences to a few others, and I have heard theirs. Like I said, I try to keep an open mind.

Hi crash,
I have thought about the fact that blimps and balloons don't need airfoils to stay airborne. They can fly extremely slow, and can even maintain a hover position without much trouble. Yet, if that's really what I saw (let's stick to the military blimp hypothesis), then why did it make that strange transition towards a knife edge manoeuvre (showing its colorful belly) and maintaining it. And why would a secret military blimp be so colorful in the middle of the night? Pretty stupid secret, if you ask me. What's the purpose of having noiseless engines then.
One more thing... During the Belgian UFO flap, only the "triangle" got the attention of the international media. Maybe it's good to know that many other strange shapes were seen as well during that same period (rectangular, quadrangular, etc...). Many were reported through SOBEPS, a private organisation who did a wonderful job. And yes, there were reports of high velocity transitions as well (including by the military who intercepted one of the craft twice).
Thanks for your comment!

Hey Steve,

Ya, there are many things that I have seen too, but some of the explanations are just too strange to understand. Kinda like what you hear in the MIB movie, swamp gas and Venus rising in the west and such. I have a little science education and I know if one star is being affected by mirage then a few others should too, not just the bright star which is going all over the sky passing between the stars and me.

And I do know that helicopters have FLIR that allows them to fly in fog at low levels as if it were a clear day. L3 communications is working on an inexpensive version for general aviation today, neat stuff!

However, I still think the unmanned ROV is what a lot of us see. And if they are not ours, it explains why the military try to catch them at times! Funny that they can't though, must be they are thumbing their noses at the military! Or the unmanned craft don't have to worry about heavy g forces in maneuvers.

Although, I think what you may have seen is a balloon. Especially a military balloon, unless it suddenly took off at a high velocity, as balloons normally don't have that capability. As for low noise engines, I have not heard of them...

<strong>Lulabelle</strong>,

I removed your comment for the following reason...
I first accepted it (although I had serious doubts if your "I was abducted by my neighbour"-story was genuine), then every 5 minutes, a new response came in... usually something like "<strong>Lulabelle</strong>, I have a real UFO in my garage, why don't you come to my house..."
I got so tired of it that I removed everything.

I did send you a personal email to notify you, but your message was bounced back.
Hope you're alright!

Captain Apathy,
The big question is... is there anything "conclusive" to release, and is it "safe" to release it?
Everybody thinks "The Government" knows what's going on.
Maybe some governments are just observing just like civilians do.
Maybe other governments have better tools to observe.
Maybe a few governments are just pretending they know more about the whole subject (confirm nor denial policies), hoping that other governments "share" some information with them.
Keep an open mind my friend... there is a lot of leaked "disinformation" available right now!

Steve, by your logic ("9:11 am") regarding "secret information," there's no terrestial way to confirm past sightings of ETs via government records. Afterall, its been close to 60 years since the governments starting recording sightings and nothings has been released.

Hi Guy,
The reason why many aircraft manufacturers tried their very best to make such a design is because (IMO) they knew "flying disks" existed already (by observation from both military personnel and civilians) and "saw" what they were capable of. Unfortunately, "rinse and repeat" didn't work out quite well.
Thanks for your input.

Hi Crash,
Being an airline pilot myself, I must admit that I know quite a bit about aircraft and their traditional propulsion systems.
I have always kept an open mind when it comes to "exotic" propulsion systems (especially the ones that don't make any noise at all).
With that in mind, I have studied the possibility of aircraft being equiped with anti-noise systems. Nothing comes close to what I have seen in 1990.
Also, the flight charachteristics (having witnessed a big flying machine - in the middle of the night - maintaining a knife edge position, low level and pretty slow) and the "lights" that were mounted on it (the craft was equiped with very bright lights that didn't shine - a bit like neon lights but not exactly that) didn't make much sense at all. I was overwhelmed with it.
Nearly 20 years later, one would expect that "secret information" to be released. It hasn't happened yet, so I suspect it wasn't one of ours.
